Oral cavity cancer survival continues to fall beyond five years after diagnosis. (1,2)

  • Stage 1

More than 85% will survive their cancer for 5 years or more after diagnosis.

  • Stage 2

Around 70% will survive their cancer for 5 years or more after diagnosis.

  • Stage 3

More than 55% will survive their cancer for 5 years or more after diagnosis.

  • Stage 4

35% will survive their cancer for 5 years or more after diagnosis.
